I have had this one in my personal odds and ends collection for several years and have never been able to identify it.
It appears to be well made.
Long ' thin blades. The scissors have a heavier spring than what is typically found (SAK type)
The back spring used for the 2 blades is tapered.
Measures 3 3/8" (8.5cm) closed.
Weighs 45 grams (1 5/8 oz)
The tang stamps are not something that I have been able to identify. I reached out to friend with connections in Egypt ; thinking that it may be middle eastern and they were unable to decipher it for me.
Any ideas ???

Without being absolutely sure, I would guess that the inscription is in Farsi. This means that the knife is from Iran.

Farsi is also spoken in India.

For whatever it's worth, the owner of the knife on the right says it's from India- https://www.autoknife.info/Indian_1.html .
OP's knife on the left. The marks look similar to me.

It's possible that the inscription is in Urdu, which is a variant of Farsi. Then it's more likely to be Pakistan, not India.Killgar wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 1:10 am For whatever it's worth, the owner of the knife on the right says it's from India- https://www.autoknife.info/Indian_1.html .
