Re: Camillus countertop sales boxes
I have often wondered about this box. the lack of camillus branding or logo puzzles me. i purchased this box complete with the original mint unused correct knives in the box. if someone did take apart some other camillus box or display to create this 4 knife countertop sales display. i have searched and researched all of the available camillus catalogs and sale brochures for a possible match of material that could be used to create this 4 knife box. if anyone has any input or opinion it would be helpful.

Interesting question! When you first posted this was wondering the same thing. Looked thru all the 1950 thru 1990 catalogs on Camillus collectors r us website site and did not see one like this . It looks like your 4 knives have cabone( Camillus name for Delrin handles ) handle material . And the model numbers of the knives are correct for your knives if they are the long line stamped knives. And the Camillus logo is correct for the knives. So if someone put it together they did some homework.CutleryCollector-com wrote: ↑Wed Dec 03, 2025 5:17 pm I have often wondered about this box. the lack of camillus branding or logo puzzles me. i purchased this box complete with the original mint unused correct knives in the box. if someone did take apart some other camillus box or display to create this 4 knife countertop sales display. i have searched and researched all of the available camillus catalogs and sale brochures for a possible match of material that could be used to create this 4 knife box. if anyone has any input or opinion it would be helpful.
My thoughts are it is not a factory issued set up or display. That said have been wrong many times when it comes to knives and the related items. But not afraid to take a stab at it .
Please let us know of if you receive or find anymore info regarding this.

Re: Camillus countertop sales boxes
i purchased this on a online auction years ago within weeks of the giant camillus factory auction. as with most of the ephemera i have posted. several one-of-a-kind items came out of that auction. i've often wondered how to value it.
