Laguiole?

I this really a Laguiole knife? I bought this in France at a castle as a souvenir in 2009. Somehow I have doubts.

It looks like a Laguiole to me. Blade is right, frame is right, bee is right.

Thanks for the replies! I was questioning it because the tip of the blade bottoms out on the spring and causes a flat spot on the blade.

And that is what shows it to be a French Laguiole, every one I've seen or owned does this and it's advisable to close the knife gently so as to not dull it. Great basic user knife, 12c27 is no "super steel" and does not need special sharpening kit or Herculean patience to touch up the edge, just a great basic steel. Enjoy it!

Thanks Mikey this is my first Laguiole knife. Bought it as a souvenir to remind me of the good time we had in France. I love the styling and detail and color of the rose wood, very well finished. I can see the curling in the wood. I enjoy it very much and never used it as an EDC.

Definitely a nice one
There are no fake laguioles, as it’s a pattern like a trapper or a barlow.
Now is it a French laguiole, yes, and the tip resting on the spring is a good hint.
Those are made like that so the blade, no matters how worn it is, always enters the handle when folded.
