Help:Dads Lost Knife
Hello, i’m looking to surprise my dad with a knife he lost as a kid. Here is his description , “ LOST! Been into knives since I was a little kid. Parents took me to Smoky Mountain Knife Works in the early 1990s. I bought a knife there that I carried for a few years and it got away from me somehow. It wasn't high end, most likely Frost or United cutlery or something similar. Had a thumb stud and an unusual exposed lockback lever making it very easy for one handed operation. Had a brown laminated handle. Drawing is my best approximation from memories 30+ years ago. I think of it often. I know this is a long shot but if anyone has seen something similar or knows wh where I can locate one l'd greatly appreciate it.“ Attached is a picture of a drawing, and an ai imagine of what it might look like.

Edit: seller describes it as lockback and it appears to match your picture somewhat, but it looks as if it is actually a liner lock.
That's my Etsy store where I sell old knives and sometimes handmade knife accessories to support my knife habbit. Thanks for looking my friend.

No problem friend
Frost lockback is actually one of my frequent ebay searches, so this was an easy find for me.
