Bush camp knife

Post by MrJW »

One of the sharpest knives I've ever encountered is the bush camp knife from knives of Alaska. Funny that it's made in Texas. Has a really nice feel to it.

I honestly have never used it because I'm so afraid of cutting myself with it lol. Every time I take it out of the sheath it shaves the leather.

Those are made about 30 miles from me. I have a featherlight folding hunter of theirs and it is razor sharp.

I have a brother in Lufkin, TX that i need to go visit and him and I go up to Denison and take a tour of the factory just so I can start to fathom how in the world they get them so sharp. I believe Denison is on the OK border along the red river?

Yes, Denison is off of highway 75 about 10 miles south of the red river. They’ve done a lot of work on the downtown there too and added some neat antique stores shops and bars.
