Thank you for your interest in this excellent condition knife from The Brian Sorenson (Ivoryman) Knife Collection. This Northfield Easy Open Knife #852113EOL pattern knife is manufactured by GEC and is 3.625" long and comes with the original white tube with handwritten label. The smooth ivory bone covers, limited to 28 knives for Mike Latham, are without chips or cracks. The unsharpened and unused spear point main blade has a strong half stop and snaps firmly when opened and locked and closes with zero side-to-side play when fully extended. The forced patina on the blade was done by Ivoryman for both aesthetics and preservation and there are several methods that can be used to remove it with varying levels of abrasiveness and ease if desired. The brass liners, steel frame and nickel silver bolsters are in commensurate condition with the grade of this knife.
