Very interesting.
That looks like what's known as an "Admiralty Pattern 301", or "AP 301". A Royal Navy issued knife.
You can find a lot of information about such knives in this pdf. You have to scroll way down to section 6.2 to find the Harrison Brothers & Howson section ( screenshot below). Here is the link- https://www.cask.info/wp-content/upload ... d-copy.pdf
