Collection of mini-autos

Post by prober996 »

Happy Independence Day! I decided this morning to take a look at a box of minis that my father collected over the years, and post them on the forum. I posted these a few years ago, but they are so cool I had to do it again. All of the small knives were purchased by my father on vacations in southern Italy in the early 1980s and 1990s. Other than the three tourist knives on the left, they all have genuine stag or bone scales. All of these knives work perfectly.

Please excuse the poor lighting/photography. If anyone wants to see a better photo of any of the knives, I will try to do a better job.

This one appears to have metal scales, or maybe metallic paint on wood?

These two have faux pearl scales. The larger one is screwed together, implying to me that it came as a kit that my father assembled.

This one has wood scales, and it also looks like it was a kit knife.

Any and all comments are welcome.

Agreed! And the TSA guy who took one from me at JFK likes them also.
