Buck 110 custom auto ID
A local shop took this in on trade. From what I have read these aftermarket conversions were quite common years ago. Is there any way to ID who did it? Any info would be appreciated.

I really don’t have any idea but take a look inside the blade well. I’ve seen customizers engrave their maker’s mark on the inside liners. Not necessarily on these converted Bucks but I’ve seen it before elsewhere.

Here’s another to ponder.
I liked this custom better than the new factory version. It’s also an Idaho stamp with finger grooves and what looks to be nickel silver hardware. Been trying to find out a little more about this variation with the round button. Any information would be appreciated!

I remember Cumberland knife did some of them as well as a few others. You could also get the tools to do these from knife kits. Com back a few and do them yourself.

I bought this around the turn of the century, and I can say it puts the Buck autos to shame.
