I’ve been working on a little project called GTP4KnifeID. It’s an AI-powered tool I built with OpenAI’s software that helps identify Case knives. I’m definitely not an AI expert, but I wanted to try something new, and so far, it’s been pretty cool.
Right now, it’s just for Case knives, but I’m hoping to expand it if it actually works well. I’d love for some of you to try it out and let me know what you think. Any suggestions or ideas would be awesome—I’m still learning as I go.
Basically it will ask you a bunch of questions to try to determine the pattern. Right now it’s pretty simple and really just references the pattern number. I’m working on a means to identify a knife just based on descriptions with no markings but haven’t gotten that completed yet.
Let me know if you tried it out and what you think.
