Moore Maker 5200 #40 of 250 1994

Post by Nikkimuz123 »

Could i get some help with the value of, a Moore Maker 5200 it’s numbered 040 out of 250. Year 1994. New in box with pamphlet. I also have a couple orange handled fixed blade hunting knives. Stamped RB on one and WRB on the other. In cursive capital letters. My husband passed and I’m trying to figure values and makers. Thank you!

Sorry for your loss, and welcome to AAPK. Generally the best source for current values of an item is eBay sold listings of the item. Set your search criteria to sold listings only, of Moore Maker 5200 knives. That should find items that have recently sold, and for how much. Unfortunately you're not likely to find a (1 of xxx) sale but also unfortunately although they are good knives there's not a strong collector market for Moore Maker, so the value is not likely to be enhanced much if any by it being number x of 250, unless you can find a collector who cares. To everyone else it's just another knife.

Sorry I don't recognize the marks on the fixed blades, but someone else may. It might help if you show pictures of them and any Stamos or marks on them. You can find instructions for posting pictures here in the AAPK Tips & Tricks forum. viewforum.php?f=98
