Recent Buck Purchase: Anything thing wrong with this picture?

Hoyt Buck produced the first Buck Knife in 1902. Hoyt and his son Al moved to San Diego and set up shop as H.H. Buck & Son in 1947. Al Buck revolutionized the knife industry in 1964 with the infamous Model 110 Folding Hunter. The company's innovative history and attention to quality have made for many great collectible knives.

Recent Buck Purchase: Anything thing wrong with this picture?

Post by GSPTOPDOG »

Here is a Pawn-Shop-Special" This was a Buck 110 I bought on a day that I did not have my reading glasses with me. ... The knife was as you see it was/is wrapped in shrink-wrap, so I could not take the knife out to look at it closely. .... ::hmm:: Anything thing wrong with this picture? ::shrug::

It's a Barehead and the date symbol is from 2016. 50th Anniversary would have been 2014.

::doh:: .... Dohh! .... ::dang:: When I got home I looked at it with my glasses on before I opened the shrink wrap and I started thinking.... ::hmm:: ... "Wasn't the 50th Anniversary date symbol an anvil?" ... ::shrug:: ... Then I knew there was a problem... ::paranoid:: I checked the date code and sure enough... somebody had pulled a fast one! ::facepalm:: ... ::hmm:: I took it back the next day and luckily, I was able to return it .... ::mdm::
