I believe it is L BRADLEY NAUGATUCK....Lyman Bradley, Naugutuck, Connecticut.

Yes, the handle is bone. For a pocket knife as old as this it amazes me with its quality. Everything is solid and you can still hear the snap. Thanks for the responses, you guys are a great resource for a beginner collector.

As knife-nut said your knife has a Water Buffalo horn handle not to be confused with bone. Great find!
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
