Can you identify this old knife. No markings

I recently bought it on eBay

Deer foot folder made in Bohemia, Austria, and Germany circa early 1900s. Many manufacturers but many by A.W.Wadsworth of Austria. Their stamps were usually very light and easily worn.

Covers on the OP knife are wood? It also doesn’t appear to have a corkscrew either. Maybe a modified deer foot knife.

I cannot magnify the picture but it appears that the fur covering the foot has either been removed or has fallen off; a common occurence on these knives. Not all have corkscrews or locking blades either. With all the hair removed, the dried skin resembles wood a lot.

Ray, I enlarged it and enhanced it a little. Still looks like wood to me. Do not see any signs of a hoof. Did they stretch the fur over a wood base?

Ken: thanks for the enlargement! I checked the ones l have and under the fur and hoof is just bone. It is very thin and appears to be hollow under the thickest part and they show evidence of being glued as well as being pinned.
The enlarged pic almost looks like stag to me and they are definitely replacements. The area near the bolster is too wide and the pins look machine made.

I also have a Wadsworth import knife.
Im curious as to the date when the nickle silver stag head parts were used.
Like the knife in the OP,
I replaced the very badly damaged handle with walnut scales.
I think it was found by metal detector as the blade and entire knife was severly water damaged. Single locking blade and not cork screw.
