I could have bought all the GEC knives I wanted back in 08 for these prices, boy I messed up. But I was just wanting a ballpark figure for the value of the knife. I'm curious how much my $70 knife has increased in value. Thanks guys.

Didn’t see green ones but the 2 sold ones on eBay were $206.50 and $255 in different bone colors.

Thank you very much. My local Ace used to be stocked full of them. I wish it was like that now.

You were lucky. At least for a while anyway. I’ve never seen GEC’s for sale anywhere but knife shows, knife-specific stores and the internet.

I would have been shocked to see them at my local Ace Hardware.

My local Ace in Richmond Kentucky is a Case Master Dealer. I'm lucky because they give 10 percent off for collectors club members and they will see you looking at 2 knives and say things like "If you buy both I'll give you 15 percent off instead of just the 10" just as an example and you don't get that buying Case knives anywhere. Plus they are always without fail the cheapest place to buy knives. They're always around 8- 10 dollars cheaper than anywhere else before any discounts. I picked up a Tony Bose Saddle horn Damascus marked down from 289 on sale for 209 just last week. I'm lucky to have them 5 minutes away. Plus they recently started selling RoseCraft knives and I love them for the money.
