Knife Box I will give away.

Post by PA Knives »

HI!

I was going through my closet and found a box for the CASE Winchester knife that was sold a number of years ago. A reproduction of course. If you own this knife and need box for it. Let me know. I will gladly send it to you FREE. Just wanted to help a fellow collector. Also . I have a 6 belt sheaths for large lockbacks. One is a buck, three sharps and one real fancy one and couple no names. If your interested in those, we can make a simple deal I am sure. Remember, Box is FREE if you own that knife. 8) 8) 8)

Buffing...

Post by CCBill »

Oh, by the way, PA. I wasn't saying that I would have the Wolfertz hawkbill "buffed", I was just saying that that was the only thing that would make it "look" better, if done by a true professional. I, too, have written a post about the "evils" of buffing. The Wolfertz is about as near to mint as about any 135+ year old knife I ever saw. It will remain a part of my lowly hawkbill collection, for a very long time, I'm sure. I am totally against buffing. I have a lot of old knives and nary a one of them has EVER seen a buffing wheel.

folks,

Bill is one of the good ones. He got the box, sheaths, and a little extra just for being a great person on this forum. Hope to hear from each of you someday. Thanks for all of your support.
