Gorgeous example, thanks for posting.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

You have a great knife there.
Press Button Knife Company was founded by George Schrade. He later sold it to Walden Knife Company. I have a "Victor" model that features a swing guard. While it has substantial blade loss, Muskrat Man worked his magic and it fires fast and sure. I think the blade loss just makes this an honest old knife. And I love the bone. This one was made prior to 1923.
And I would be very interested in a knife like yours.

Re: Press button knife
I'm late to the party, but it IS indeed a PBKC Invincible knife made in the Press Button Division of Walden Knife Co between 1892 and 1923 most likely. George Schrade invented the knife, but he did not start the company. Walden Knife Co purchased George's patent and brought him on to help manufacture the knives there. It was designated the model #1000 and measured 4 7/8" closed and 8 3/4 inches open if the blade is full. Most had a clip blade and picked, or jigged bone scales, but they were also made with spearpoint blades and saber ground clip blades and some had ebony wood scales. Other than a little blade loss and some peek, yours looks like a nice example. Details from my book Antique American Switchblades. Hope it helps. Mark
