Help identifying a Dagger

Help identifying a Dagger
Can someone help me identify this dagger? An internet search has it most closely related to Solingen, but I don't see any markings that can verify that. It is also missing a gold/copper colored crest inlay on the back.

I don't know anything about your dagger, L&F, other than how cool it is!

That possibility crossed my mind too, 
Skip, but then came to think it might be a bit heavy, not that letter openers have weight limits, but more like they are traditionally light in weight and easy to use.

The handle appears to be cast pewter or some other material that was then treated to look like cast pewter.
While it may have been made in Europe, I’m more inclined to think it would have been made in Asia, likely within the last 40-50 years. If it’s any older than that, I’d be surprised.
Letter opener or not, the overall appearance of it (especially the knight head in the guard) gives off a theatrical or “wall-hanger” vibe.
