My dad

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

My dad

Post by garddogg56 »

Within six weeks of my mother passing my Dad passed after a battle with dementia at 90yo,he was on tough man and a great inspiration to all that knew him.The last picture is of him ten years ago when he received his 60 year certificate from the I.B.E.W. As a Journeyman electrician and instructor.

gdogg,
Sorry for your loss of your Dad.
Prayers of comfort and peace for you and the family at this time. ::pray::
I can only imagine the tales and stories that he probably shared as an electrician from those many years.
Thanks for sharing those special pictures of him with the forum.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. I pray peace and blessing on you and your family. From the pictures you posted, it looks like you have some good memories of him. Cherish those great memories.

My Dad passed about 6 months ago and I still catch myself thinking that I need to call him and tell him about certain things that happen.

Sorry I missed this earlier.

It's never easy to lose a parent, I'm sorry for the loss of your dad, and your mom a bit back. Small condolence, but they are now together and not in pain anymore.

I hope with time your grief will ease...
