USMC General Alfred Gray
I thought maybe some of you Marine veterans might like to see this, from Arlington National Cemetery last week.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

The Marine Corps really knows how to honor our fallen, be it in battle or peacefully in their sleep. Semper Fi General Gray. RIP

Very impressive ceremony, and appropriate honor.

I am not a veteran, but I have the utmost respect for those that serve and have served our country. I teared up hearing TAPS played because it was 14 years ago that it was played at my son Aaron's funeral outside of Fort Bragg. Our son was a Green Beret and he was killed in Afghanistan on 29 May 2011, Memorial Day weekend. Bless those who have swore the oath to defend our country. And my heart goes out to the family of the General, may God rest your soul.

God rest your son and the General. No one who ever served or lost a service member can hear taps and not be profoundly moved in heart.
