Worth restoring?

The Remington Corporation and the knives that they built have influenced the U.S. cutlery industry more than nearly any other manufacturer. From the time America was settled, to the end of WWI, American knife companies struggled to compete with Britain and German imports, but events that occurred during and after the First World War led to a great change in this phenomenon. Worth restoring?

Picked this up, what you see is what I got. The other blade is snapped off. Was wondering if its worth it to try and reblade this knife? I'd love to restore it to its former glory. Your thoughts.

You'd love to, so do it.
A new blade between those bones, like dropping a new motor in a classic car.

Welp, I don't got the know how. What would be the cost to do such a thing by someone who knows what they are doin? ::handshake::

More than the knife is worth most likely. Why do you want to restore it? Family heirloom? In this case, the knife is the blades and I have bought ones like that for $1 at fleamarkets.

I'm a rookie in knife collecting, So I saw the bone and single line remington stamp and got all excited. I paid $5 for it thinkin it was well worth it for parts.

maybe it can be my first learner. just gotta find replacement blades and i'll attempt to reblade/refurbish in the shop ::super_happy::

Nice looking knife. Most likely if you do it yourself it would not be perfect but
that is OK. We all got to start out somewhere. If someone guides you it should
turn out pretty good and you will be very proud of yourself. Go for it!!!!
