Three Oldies I Just Couldn't Throw Out
These three were in a large auction lot that I won a while back. I still have a lot of them left to restore, but these three kept calling to me, and I finally just got around to giving them some TLC. They all had either missing or badly shrunken scales (first few pics), but were in surprisingly good shape when I got them cleaned up and put back together. I used burgundy burlap micarta on the Case 048 and smooth bone on the Keen Kutter and the Camco. The blades on all 3 have great snap and no wobble. In hindsight maybe I should have come up with a newer shield for the Case.

I hate to disagree with you, Herb, but your hindsight is failing you. I would not change one. Single. Thing. about any of these three knives! You did a wonderful job on them!

Great restoration work. They look great now. Love seeing old uglies get a make over and turn out sweet like that. The Keen Kutter is my fave of those, but they all look good now.
