China "Miscellaneous" Pocket Knives.

Description Pocket Knife #1. Pictures #1 To #5.
Not too recently, this pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I bought. I did NOT purchase the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, it did get added to my general, "foreign born" pocket knife accumulation. It is a CHINA, one partially serrated blade, one tang stamp, one blade etch, 5" closed, lockback, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "440 S.STEEL" The main blade back etch says, "CHINA" The blade does have a SOFT half stop. The blade has a GOOD opening snap. The blade has a GOOD closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. It did NOT require any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

The main blade front tang stamp says, "STAINLESS (over) CHINA" The main handle side has the image of a tractor. The other handle side also has the image of a tractor. It is under the removable belt or pocket clip. If the tractor is indeed a JOHN DEERE tractor, neither image says it, or I just can not see it. The blade does have a SOFT half stop. The blade does have an OK opening snap. The blade does NOT have any closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. It did NOT need any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. Not too recently, this pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. I did NOT purchase the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. But, it did get added to my general, "foreign born" pocket knife accumulation. It is a CHINA, one partially serrated blade, one tang etch, 3" closed, a lanyard hole, lockback, pocket knife. The main blade back tang etch says, "STAINLESS (over) CHINA" The blade (SHARP!!) does have a WEAK half stop. The blade does NOT have an opening snap. The blade does have an OK closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. It did NOT need any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

Not too recently, this pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I bought. I did NOT buy the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. But, it did get added to my "foreign born", pocket knife accumulation. I am posting this FOR REFERENCE. It is a CHINA "Bar Creek", one blade, two tang stamps, 2 3/4" closed, a lanyard hole, lockback, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "Bar (over) Creek" The main blade back tang stamp says, "440 STAINLESS (over) CHINA" This pocket knife is missing both of its scales. Both of the bolsters have cosmetic issues. The blade does have a SOFT half stop. The blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The blade does have a GOOD closing snap. Even with its cosmetic flaws, this pocket knife is still in FAIR+ condition. It did need a little bit of cleaning.
I took some pictures and here it is.

Not too recently, I bought this pocket knife because I thought it was a CAMILLUS 72 variation, lookalike, or wannabe. It did come close, but as it turned out, it wasn't. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. Still, it did get added to my general, "foreign born" pocket knife accumulation. It is a Rite EDGE, three blades, two tang etches, one blade etch, 3 9/16" closed, a long main blade pull, two springs, stockman, pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front etch says, "Built Tough" (double underlined) with a pair of crossed hammers in the center. The main blade front tang etch says, "Rite (over) EDGE" The main blade back tang etch says, "STAINLESS (over) CHINA" The main blade does have a SOFT half stop. The main blade does have an OK opening snap. The main blade does have an OK closing snap. The secondary blade does NOT have a half stop. The secondary blade does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. The secondary blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. The third blade does have a SOFT half stop. The third blade does have an OK opening snap. The third blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. This pocket knife did come with the original box (not pictured). This pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. This pocket knife did NOT require any cleaning.
I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

I seriously doubt very much whether the "K" in the circle has anything at all to do with this pocket knife being kosher or with any jew dietary laws. But, who knows..... The main blade does have a WEAK half stop. The main blade does have an OK opening snap. The main blade does have a GOOD closing snap. The secondary blade does have a WEAK half stop. To begin with, PLEASE read the following quote. It goes along with picture #9, the left side, posted below.
trail wrote: Mon Apr 23, 2012 10:25 pm This one was advertised as "Vtg Eagle Top - Single Blade Knife - Scout Knife" and included lots of good clear pictures. The stamp did look like Eagle Top but I thought, maybe Eagleton, though it is way too modern compared to the other Eagletons we have seen here. The shell handle looked like an Imperial or Richards. Once I had the knife in hand, things didn't get any clearer. At first I thought it might be Eggleston, but in the end I hit on Eaglestar as my best guess. If anybody has any ideas I'd like to hear them.
I believe that my following post might possibly answer the almost 13 year old post by "trail."
Not too recently, this pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I bought. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT buy the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, it did get added to my general, "foreign born", pocket knife accumulation. It is an Eaglestar, one blade, one tang stamp, 3 1/4" closed (not including the bail), pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "Eaglestar" There is NO country of origin stamped, marked, or etched, anywhere on this pocket knife. The main blade does have an OK half stop. The main blade does have an OK opening snap. The main blade does have an OK closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning. I just wiped it off.
I took some pictures and here it is.

I have always assumed that my Eaglestar pocket knife was made in China. But, I had no proof. Now, I believe that I do have the proof. The VERY LAST picture posted below, shows the exact same (except for the color), pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "Daisy (over) CHINA" Could the pattern or style of THIS pocket knife just be a coincidence? I'm guessing that it's possible. However, I do believe that my Eaglestar pocket knife and the other two Eaglestar pocket knives in this post, are from China.

Recently, this pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my most recent example to be posted under this topic or thread. I definitely did NOT buy the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. But, it did get added to my general, "foreign born", pocket knife accumulation. It is an UNBRANDED, one blade, two tang stamps, 2 1/8" closed (not including the loop or ring), lockback, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "STAINLESS" The main blade back tang stamp says, "ROSTFREI" (Rust-Free) There is NO country of origin stamped, marked, or etched, anywhere on this pocket knife. I am 99.999% positive that this pocket knife was made in CHINA. "ROSTFREI" DOES APPEAR ON POCKET KNIVES THAT ARE FROM CHINA. The main blade does have a SOFT half stop. The main blade does have an OK opening snap. The main blade does have a GOOD closing snap. This pocket knife is in GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT need cleaning. I just wiped it off, took some pictures, and here it is.
