I recently acquired a knife that has a relatively clear tang stamp reading "Dorket Brothers", unless my eyes are failing. I cannot find any information on these brothers or their knives. Can any of you bright blade lovers shed any light?
The knife originally had four blades. It still has four tangs, and the Dorket Brothers must have really wanted to get their name out there because it's on all four tangs.

I believe it is DORKEN, not DORKET. Levine’s Guide lists “Dorken Brothers & Co., Montreal,Quebec a hardware wholesaler 1894-19??”, so the knife was likely made for them on contract. It’s definitely an old one!

Just looking at the tangs, I can make out the “N” as the last letter.
