Marbles boot knife

Webster Marble formed Gladstone Mfg. Co. in 1892. That company created the first folding Axe in 1893 which lead to the incorporation of Marble's Safety Axe Co. in 1898. The company became Marble Arms & Mfg. Co. in 1911 & enjoyed years of success until succumbing to a shut down of production in 1974. The brand was brought back to life in 1994 & enjoyed a grand rejuvenation that later gave way to another shutdown in 2009. Many great knives & tools were crafted over the company's storied history.

Marbles boot knife

Post by ElConquistador24 »

Hey folks,
I recently got this Marbles boot knife at an estate sale but I can't seem to find any information on it anywhere, either in pictures or for sale. I believe it's an older knife, but I don't think it was ever used or worn, as both the sheath and knife are in perfect condition. Curious about age, value, rarity, or really any info.
Thanks,
Will in Idaho

I think those were made by Camillus. It is a modern knife. I don’t think they are very common.

Those were introduced in 1982, The Western stamped ones are the most common. Nice find!
