Small Pearl handle Electric Razor/Knife??

Post by raincrowe »

I have a small three and half inch.. one bladed pearl handle.. knife or razor..Stamped Electric.. the handles have no backspring and made like a razor
I don't know what kind of blade is in the knife and I don't know what pattern the knife is...the blade opens and has a stop...
You would have to keep your finger on the blade so it won't close...I can't figure out the function and purpose for the knife or razor
If it's a razor it's the smallest I've ever seen and the blade dosen't resemble a straight razor blade and It doesn't look like a doctors scalpels
Goins book pg 87 states the stamps dates 1873-1890 a trademark used by Friedmann & Lauterjung
I'm not sure about this one hopefully someone knows more about this than I... ::tu::

When I looked up Friedmann Lauterjung I found some great history
They were in the Razor business but I didn't see the item pictured

Could it be a corn knife for removing corns from the feet?

It's possible but when I checked my older book ...The offical price guide to CollectorPocket knives Authored by James Parker & Bruce Voyles
on page 27 the blade pattern is different
I have a corn knife try to find it and compare the knives Thanks a great idea

Pretty sure it’s a corn razor or knife.

Your right that is the most logical function for the knife
