I REALLY NEED HELP - I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT KNIVES!

Hi yall! I found what seems to be a really old pocket knife with my metal detector on the beach one day. I will attempt to describe it using proper knife terms, but if it sounds weird, it is because i have no i dea what im speaking of. also, if anyone wants to see a pic of it, lemme know. thanks!

No Blade Lock – I Think
Has Both Bolsters
Possibly Be A “Clasp” (The Knife Portion Curves Upward A Bit)
Possibly A “California Clip” With A “Spey” or “Drop Point” (It Only Has 2 Blades)
The Cover Is Pure Wood On One Side And The Other Is What Looks To Me Like A Dimpled Wood, Possibly shellacked. Or Jigged Bone.
No Sheild
All The Pins Are Still In It
Both Blades Have Nail Marks
Possibly A Slight Serpentine Handle
May Possibly Have a tang stamp, but it is weathered so it is hard to tell

welcome to the site. rub the tang with some 0000 steel wool and oil. if the tang is readable this should help. photos please.

Well Folks, I have really bad news. My mom threw the knife away. I am sooo mad, but there isnt anything i can do. I'm sorry. i almost cried (actually i did a wee bit).

Now you can forever tell yourself anything you want to about the knife and who owned it and you could be just as right as wrong. hahahah
