No shield, no tang numbers

Post by NTXKnifedude »

Good afternoon,
I’ve recently purchased a knife without tang numbers, and no shield. It’s apparently an early 1904-15 tang stamp… WR Caes & Sons Bradford, PA. Odd to me that I can’t see tang numbers to confirm pattern and dates. Also rare to not have a shield I think. Anyone know anything about this one?

Thanks in advance for any input!

Can you elaborate on that?
