Just thinking???
Today at the flea market I picked up three USA Uncle Henry's, one 894UH & two 897 UH's. All three are in nice shape, been carried and lightly sharpened, but nice. I'm 52 years old and can remember buying new Old Timer and Uncle Henry's for less than 10 bucks, in my neck of the woods here in S. WV I can still find OT & UH's used and new for 10 bucks or less. With Schrade gone now just looking on ebay today the price on OT & UH's are bringing strong prices. Funny how time changes. Just wondering in your area how the price on OT & UH's are? Bring back the good old days. Happy Easter and God Bless!!!

Just thinking ????...
and your old and 52 too...
Perhaps the next thing you will say is that you like YELLOW handle knives.
I to like to collect Schrades USA. I have gone all around my home town. About a 200 mile radius in every hardware store, sport store and gun store. I could find. No such luck here in the center of IL. They are all gone 2 years ago...

Ken, Down here in Effingham Illinois they were selling all Schrade stuff for 1/2 off at Rural King and other places shortly after the Company closed the US factory doors.
I remember buying the smaller ones in clam packs for $10-$15 in the 90s when I was in high school. I used to lose a knife at the rate of about one each month, so those worked out pretty well for me

I am afraid that I too was one of the user and abuser types, I wish that Ihad all of them that I lost to the school priciple back I would have a fortune in todays market and I spent what seems then like pitence.
I have gone for miles around Wichita and there are hundreds of little hardware stores but all the cheap prices are gone.
I hate to say it but our generation has seen the best this world will ever have to offer in every way and it will never return, a democracy only lives a short life, history shows about 250years is the longest, and ours is about to die I am afraid, it does not seem to matter who wins the next election they are allready setting in motion to turn over our government to the UN and then things will really go down hill fast.
Just my opinion!!
Enjoy The Day
