Mystery Maker to me???

Hi guys,

Been a while since I've posted, but would like to tap into the wealth of knowledge here to help out with an identification of this knife?

First of all I thought it was junk in a bunch of quality knives I got at an Auction, but after looking at the build and tappered tang I now have suspicions that this may be something more.

Anyways take a look at the photos and see if you can come up with any usful information.
