With a picture, maybe. Generally, “prototype” is a marketing gimmick used by some cutleries to imply it is a “rare” knife. Usually followed by hundreds or thousands of “production” knives just like it. Some folks collect prototypes and may pay more for one. To others it’s just another knife.

Best source for current value is an advanced search of eBay, for sold listings only, of the item. If you don’t find the exact same “prototype”, look for sales of similar items and adjust accordingly.
