Lakota Lil Hawk with Black Micarta, finger groove handle

Post by Cats Knives »

Hi,
I wanted to know any information on Lakota Lil' Hawks. The one I have has black Micarta scales and a finger groove handle. It is tang stamped Lakota Lil' Hawk, US Pat. NO. D248,039, and rear tang with S. Sakurai. Seki Japan.
(I am new here and don't know how to post pictures).
The box it is in has a white sticker placed over the end of the Lil' Hawk box that says, " Model 271-A". This is interesting, because the catalog on the Lakota facebbook page indicates that the 271-A is a Pro Hawk. Mine is stamped Lil' Hawk. That same catalog only listed the Pro Hawk with the Micarta scales. I haven't seen any with a finger groove handle like this one in my internet search.
Would post pics, if I knew how.
Thank you for any help.

I have no information on your Lakota, but be patient: Someone who does know will likely read your post soon and respond.
