Seeking info on 4 knives

In cleaning out my parents home I came across several "vintage" pocket knives. All are common brands (Boker Tree, Schrade, DE, Klein, etc.) and most are badly worn. I suspect 1960's or 70's vintage maybe. One or two might be ok for toolbox or daily carry use, none are anything special. Mainly just curious about the history of them. I have pictures of all 4. As a new member I am not familiar with the protocols here. Should I do one post with 11 pictures, or 1 for each knife? Is this the correct forum or should I use one of the others? Thanks.

Welcome to AAPK. It’s best to post them individually, but you can most likely find information you seek by using the keyword search capability here. You can find that under Quicklinks on the upper left of this thread. Just open “Search”, type in the brand name of the knife and submit it. That will bring up all the prior posts about the brand. Unless it’s an obscure brand you can scan through them to find history, etc related to the company. If you don’t already know, DE is Diamond Edge which was a trademark owned by Shapleigh Hardware. Your search keyword would be Shapleigh, or Diamond Edge rather than DE.

There is also an excellent Research tool, located up there in the header at the top of the page, and a section of sub-forums dedicated to many of the brands you have. You can find info about the brand there, or post your knives pictures and questions there. viewforum.php?f=55
