Is it illegal to ship ivory out of the U.S., like on knife handles?
Are there any export restrictions on other materials which are used for knife slabs?

You can't ship ivory, mammoth ivory, or walrus ivory outside of the U.S. I'm basing this on my experience with eBay. I would check with the USPS, to make sure.

Might want to check on warthog and Hippo. I should be picking up more Hippo Ivory, I went thorugh all I bought last year. I just finished designing and will cut out some .040 brass and .o38 Titanium for Barlow liners, I am also making a toothpick, I think I'll use .032 Brass for that. Be nice to see what Ivory looks good on these. ::tu::
