Help me ID this 300 layer Boker
Is this one of Boker's 300 Lagen annual knives. Does anyone know the year this knife was made and if it is carbon or stainless? Measures 4 1/2" closed.
Thanks, Rick
Thanks, Rick

Is there a serial number on one side of the lock release?

I went all the way back to 1980 reviewing the annual Boker Damascus knife editions and didn't see it. Hope that helps.

Is it numbered? I believe all of the annual editions were numbered.

I went back and looked at all of them as well and it isn’t marked like one. It is the same style knife that was released in 1992 which is a Black Jack Mamba style, which this is. The 1992 knife has stag handles.

No, it is not numbered. Sure looks like a Boker annual damascus to me. Thanks for your time and help!RedRaiderRick wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 12:38 am Is it numbered? I believe all of the annual editions were numbered.

Here is a link to the Boker annual knives. Goes from 2024 back to 1980. I don't see that knife.

No, there is no serial number. Please let em know if you know anything about this knife. The scales look like bog oak or 1000 year old oak to me.Thank you for your interest and time. Well if it is bog oak, it's a shame someone lost the paperwork proving it. Here is a closeup of my bog oak Boker. It is very dense, hard and almost black. It's the only one I've seen so I'm no expert but it looks different from yours. That is a georgious knife either way.

Re: Help me ID this 300 layer Boker
Rick, I have no new information. I have thought, and still think it when I look at the OP, that the handles are jigged bone and not wood. Not that it will add any information to the origins or the data you are looking for. Sorry I can’t be of more help.rwmoss1 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 3:12 pmI see no serial number on this knife.Sharpnshinyknives wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 12:00 am Is there a serial number on one side of the lock release?
