Bulldog Knives
How do you all feel about Bulldog knives,they seem to be really well made.Are they worthwhile to collect

older bulldogs are very collectable. do a search at the top of the page, you'll find enough collectable bulldogs to keep ya reading for a week!

Oh I have a few uh folders few each holds anywhere from 12 to 60. 
I guess that translates into a few hundred, even with selling a few dozen. I was spending too much time cleaning instead of making knives.
There are knives in the 4th and 5th generations (current, but we could have a good debate that the 6th generation started in 2004 with the switch from the double dog head tang stamp back to the original fighting Bulldogs) that sell near $200.00. So each generation of Bulldog knives has something special, but I have not seen anything really since 2004 or since Jim Parker died.

I have a few bulldogs also, maybe a few hundred. 
My opinion is that the 1st generation knives are the best quality and also the most collectable. I also like the bulldogs with natural handles. There are some really nice 1st generation stag and some really nice pearls and bone. 
I like the 1st generation greenbone a lot. There are some really nice knives in the 2nd and 3rd generation also, I just prefer the 1st generation.
