Not exactly my area of collecting. I am looking for opinions as to the authenticity of this BENCHMADE. It looks to be identical to the pictures on the internet, but I want to be sure before I list it for sale here on AAPK store.

A good way to tell is weight comparison. See if you can find the knife specs on BladeHQ, KnifeCenter, GP Knives or another reputable source that keeps historical/sold out listings and see if the weight of yours matches up. Fakes are usually much lighter.
I am not an expert either, but here are some observations. The butterfly logo looks more distinct and clear on the factory website. Look at the outline of the wing near the ‘E’ in Benchmade. They touch the ‘E’ on your knife; however, they do not touch the ‘E’ on the one on the website.
The handles should be extruded aluminum, most fakes have plastic or some type of polymer handle. The pocket clip holes are also too close to the edge of the cutout on fakes. Speaking of that, is one of your clip holes covered up? If that's a film of material that wasn't removed (also not a good sign), see if you can pry it out. Should be able to tell if it's aluminum or not.
Thanks for all the comments. I am now of the opinion that this one is a FAKE although a pretty good one. The give-a-way for me is that that is weighs 2.94 ounces while the real ones are supposed to weigh 3.25 ounces.
