a million and one questions
Looking for more information on a knifemaker called JRH. I have one and I cant even tell you what the handle material is. It is something natural that I am pretty sure of but after that it would be just guessing. I have only found one little thread on some forum where someone asks about their contact information so that he can buy another one of their knives and that was like 15years old
Re: a million and one questions
The handle appears to be bone. I believe that this is a custom handmade knife. The handle looks like it might have once been dyed a darker color, but didn't penetrate the bone and so mostly wore off. I am going off the darker color around the pins.
Hopefully others will come along with more definite information. In my opinion, it is a sweet looking knife!

Yes, I would agree, bone handle. Could be one of only a few by a custom maker, or maybe only one. Unusual number of pins. Might be tough to track down.
