Vtg Advertising Knife, I bet my dad went here...

Post by TripleF »

Purchased this a little while back and one of my dad's cousins widow commented that she remembers going here, so
I just deducted that if she did, I bet my dad did too!!!

I LOVE advertising knives! Must have a few hundred. Some of the ads are downright bizarre. Have one from England advertising, '' grate polish '' ; whatever that is. Another one advertises '' Morticians & furniture ''! That one threw me for a loop until I remembered watching Western movies where the local cabinet maker also made caskets. Made sense then!

Cool little knife Scott. Always an extra when you can have a personal tie to a knife.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
