Fantasy Winchester whittler

Post by 98src »

I am tasked with selling some knives for my sister whose husband passed away. The first one is what I think is a fantasy Winchester 3 blade whittler. My question is does anyone else have one of these (or has seen one)? I plan on keeping it in my vintage (pre 1942) Winchester collection and make sure my boys know it's true identity. Is $

Pretty sure it's not fake, just one of the later ones Queen made for Blue Grass Cutlery, probably 1990s era

I agree with Roger. It looks like it was built on a United Cutlery frame. I know I’ve seen that profile before and that is what came to mind immediately.

The Winchester Cartridge Series knives had main blades totally shaped differently than this.

Thanks! See how the spline and the cutting edge are proportional? That's what I was trying to explain, the OP blade shape isn't like that. Awesome example. ::nod::
