I traded for a nice Boker stockman sometime back, probably showed a picture of it. Common to lots of Bokers, the shield fell off when I opened the package. Finally decided to re-attach the shield with some super glue. Bought a small tube of Permatex brand glue. It was in a blister pack and so I used the blade of the Boker to open the pack and not paying attention, I split the little tube of super glue open! Didn't notice it for a couple of minutes and then there was super glue all over the counter and of course all over the clip blade.

Got everything cleaned up except for the knife blade. This knife has not been sharpened and the blades are/were pristine. What do y'all suggest to dissolve the super glue with out any abrasive action, scraping, etc?
I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks.
