SLK Fixed Blades Moved to a New Website

I've recently moved all of my folding knives to my AAPK store.
I've decided to house all of my fixed blade knives in their own web space under the jfinamoreknives.com website. The few knives that I currently have listed there are etched with the older SLK/J.Finamore makers mark butane new knives going forward will have my new makers mark.
If you venture out to the jfinamoreknives.com website, keep in mind that I'll consider any reasonable offer on the knives that are currently listed there. Since they have the older makers mark I'd like to move them out. To make an offer just send me an email ([email protected]).

The administrative tasks of running any website tends to wear me down. It takes me away from the work that I enjoy doing. But I need to sell the knives that I do. My mantra is pretty simple, “I am not a knife collector”. So in order to move my knives to another home I need to put them online. I’d really like Bryan to get the commissions from my sales so I moved my folding knives back to my AAPK storefront. For a few days I had PayPal enabled as a payment source. But their policies tend to be anti-seller (this is only my opinion by the way, lots of folks use them). As a seller I don’t like being treated as unscrupulous or sketchy. And I’m not going to ship knives out while PayPal holds on to the payments for 3 weeks. There are lots of safeguards already in place for credit card buyers so a 21 day hold on funds is just unnecessary.
So at any rate, my folding knives will still be listed here at AAPK, but the payment options shown will only be check or money order. It limits my customer base but as they say “ it is what it is”. I may reopen my SLK store secondary website so my credit card customers can make purchases but then I’ll have to manage two separate inventories which adds substantially to my administrative tasks.

No problem, I understand.

I’m kinda a technological cripple myself, doesn’t take much clicking and swiping before my limit is reached. But I do recognize good knife work when I see it, and I’ve always been happy with yours. It’d be a shame for the marketing details to drag you down from working on knives.
