when Seller requests pre-payment via USPS Money Order or Bank Money Order

When a seller has a knife for sale listed on AAPK and states that payment (via USPS Money Order or Bank Money Order) must be received (by the seller) prior to shipment to customer, how does the customer proceed with the purchase? (through AAPK or through the seller ?). I've never done this pre-payment method before (I used my credit card on my recent purchase for different knife).

On the AAPK website/forum the "advertisement" for the knife I want to buy has "buttons" for "Contact Seller" and "Add To Cart".
Which do I use?

Do I:
(A) click on "Contact Seller" and arrange privately with the Seller for the purchase using this direct Seller-Buyer approach, or
(B) using the AAPK website/forum, click on "Add To Cart" and have the AAPK process guide me (as on my previous purchase) through the purchase process and, I assume, it will prompt or guide me with how/where to submit the pre-payment to the seller, as part of the AAPK purchase process.

Click Add to Cart and then you should be given the name and address of the seller etc.
At least thats been my experience.

Click “add to cart” if your intent is to purchase. You can follow the prompts all the way through the process and then back out at the last prompt if you change your mind - or just want to see how it works. You’ve done nothing until you submit on the last prompt.

“Contact seller” is for use if you have a question about the item.

If the seller prefers USPS money order or bank wire transfer, make sure you understand the process and requirements of that method (because there may be some confusion later). Typically, you will need to pay the funds in advance and provide the seller with proof of the transfer. I often read various articles on this topic. Because my passion is too much.

If you have the option to add an item to your cart and make your purchase on the site itself, this may be a safer option for you. This is purely my opinion.
