This one ( #39/1958-1960) came to me in exchange of a $20 bill...rust, crud, scratches and blades all dull with grinder marks...the scales where greenish...please don't ask what that "green goo" was...lol
So it was time for a Spa treatment!! Here she is...the Queen of Queens...still not pretty or mint but very lovable!! Did I mentioned that I love Queen knives!???
Ohhh, look another Queen!!

The #39 has been my deer knife for many years. I've tried others once in a while and nothing feels as good as my old, almost worn out Queen.
$20 was a bargain!

Alien883,
The one I use is from the 1960-'70 era, no tang stamp, Delrin handles, a tough old knife. It has a special meaning for me as it belonged to the husband of one of the old widow ladies at church. She too has gone on some years ago.
I love the real Winterbottom bone, but I feel the imitation is more durable. I noticed the beautiful group you posted in the Queen thread, some real beauties!
