EXPERT NEEDED… What is this used for???
Hello, I’m new to the forum, hope I’m doing this right… I need help from a expert…
Does anybody know what the hole in the base is used for??? I assume it’s to hang it on a belt/vest stub but is that the true intended use…
& if anybody can tell me what the brand is(if it even is one)…

Welcome to AAPK. Glad to have you aboard.
The slot at the bottom of the handle is a seat belt cutter. The hole in the side of the handle that looks like a step ladder is a wrench for tightening or loosening small nuts.

If it had a brand name, it has probably been worn off. It looks to be of Chinese manufacture. Most of the modern knives from Chinese manufacturers are good quality, using decent steels and good heat treatment.
It looks to have been carried a lot, and will probably be a good user.

Right on with that one… Ive had it for over well over 10 years & it’s been carried on me the whole time… never let me down in situations I needed it… I’ve put this tool though hell, from sticking it into hard woods, cutting open seats to stabbing threw polymers & other harden plastics/materials & with little bit of sharpening boom like new, the tip is still straight… it did give me a nice *small* scar on my pinky but now I’m a pro at 5 finger fillet now lol…Reverand wrote: ↑Sun May 28, 2023 12:29 am If it had a brand name, it has probably been worn off.
