knife blade swirls

Hello. Could someone tell me the best way to remove fine lines (swirls) on new pocket knife blades? Thanks. Henry

Nor sure what you mean by swirls, do you have a picture?

Could be the marks from grinding the bevel at the factory that were not polished out, or from someone doing a poor job of sharpening with a too coarse stone? Pictures are needed.
