IXL Tang stamp?

Hello, can someone tell me if this stamp looks legitimate for this knife? ::hmm:: Thank you...

Stamp legitimate? Whole knife isn't legitimate. Knife was obviously made from a sword blade, something Wostenholm would not do. Looks like a carving knife handle too. Also IXL wouldn't have such a thin guard.
