Hello,
This knife in picture reads/stamped on tang "Simmons Hardware Germany" on the other side of tang stamped is like a bee in a triangle.
I could not find any info on this knife, maybe something to do with Keen Kutter? Any information would be helpful.
Your knowledge and time is appreciated.
Thank you

Re: Simmons Hardware knife
That should be approximately from 1900-1940 range. It is a "Hornet" brand knife sold through the Simmons Hardware company, which was sold to Shapleigh Hardware around 1940.

I don't think that's one of the original Simmons Hornets. That knife screams 1970's or 80's. I think it's one of the knives made in that time frame that was associated with Jim Parker or whoever owned the trademark at the time. There are a bunch of other patterns floating around from that same period, many in stag with the same shield.
