Boker from 1800's

Post by bassler64 »

This knife is 2 inches long, sterling and 926 out of 1000. What else can I be told about it? The tang is H.B.& S, Germany.

Linking the other thread where there was still some exploration going on with this piece.
Still a bit early to be tagging this as a Boker or putting a date to it.
The info so far has been specualtion just to help further some searching on it.

Anyway, not here to rain on your parade but I'm sure someone here will be along to provide more insights on this piece, it's a bit elusive.

I agree, very premature to declare its maker or its vintage. So far all I’ve contributed to the other thread is speculation. Need a real Böker expert like rangerbluedog or Mason (members here who authored a book about Böker knives) to give his learned opinion. ::nod::

When the people fear their government, that is tyranny. When government fears the people, that is freedom.
