Patriotic multi tool

Post by MadeinUSA »

Anyone have one of these they’d be willing to part with? I presume it’s discontinued and I haven’t been able to find one.

No I don’t have that one. Are you aware of the Randall or the Camillus Duratools that had flag handles ?

Just bought this a few days ago… Camillus 327F tool for my collection

I’ll have to look for a Randall. Thanks for the tip! The duratool would be a nice add

Will arrive Monday

Yours is a Duratool. They made it with or without the Handyman etch.

They also made a 4 blade utility MLK knife with the flag paint. What is interesting about these Camillus knives, no 2 are alike. I don’t know how they were made, but it is a much larger pattern than the knife handle.

The Randall will be tough one to find. But if I ever sell mine you get first refusal.

You could always have a custom one made in their custom shop:

I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but discontinued Leatherman tools can get insanely expensive. I'm not sure if that one was a regular production job, an SFO, a one-off, or maybe a sample. The other forum I frequent is much more geared towards multi-tools; I could ask the folks there if you'd like.

Wow… that is an excellent idea! I just peeked at the sight and the customization options are pretty robust!

Thank you

Thanks Dan. I’ll also look at the Leatherman customize options… but would be interested in that special edition with color.

If you would inquire on the other forum… I appreciate it.

I'll ask the Leatherman gurus about it shortly.

Edit: I checked that forum's wiki instead. The Micra page aseemed to confirm that the U.S. flag Micra was a regular production item. I'll try to uncover the item number and a production time frame.

You're welcome, Jim. I have some older Leatherman catalogs downloaded on my tablet. I'll search them for the U.S. flag Micra when it's time to charge the phone.

Saw this on Ebay. Says its hydrodipped? Reminds me very much of the pattern on the Camillus knives

However… wouldn’t think the coating would stay on long with regular use
